Ghost Riders Name Bill McCloud as Team Coordinator

The Salt Lake Ghost Riders are proud to announce Bill McCloud as our Team Coordinator for the 2026–2027 season.

Bill has been a pillar of the Utah hockey community for 35 years, contributing to the sport as a player, official, manager, coach, and volunteer at every level across the state. Few individuals have impacted Utah hockey as broadly or as consistently.

His experience includes:
• General Manager – ACHA D2 Weber State University (5 years)
• On‑Ice Official – 12 years
• Utah Outliers Management Team – 5 years
• Board of Directors – Utah Warriors Veterans Ice Hockey
• PA Announcer & Play‑by‑Play Broadcaster across Utah rinks

Bill’s deep operational knowledge, long‑standing relationships, and commitment to growing the game make him an invaluable addition to our organization. His leadership will support day‑to‑day team operations, player experience, and community engagement as we build the Ghost Riders Franchise.

This structure creates a direct pathway for our athletes to advance within the USPHL system, including call‑ups to the NCDC level while staying inside the same organizational framework.

We’re building a true development pipeline here in West Valley City, and this is another major step forward.
