Acord Ice Center is Home
Located in West Valley City, Utah, Acord Ice Center gives the Salt Lake Ghost Riders a true hockey home in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley. The facility features an Olympic-size 200′ x 100′ ice sheet and has served as both the official practice facility for the Utah Grizzlies and a practice venue during the 2002 Olympic Games.
For Ghost Riders players, Acord Ice Center is more than a rink, it is where our identity comes to life. From practices and player development sessions to game nights in front of our fans, the facility provides the setting, energy, and competitive environment our players need to push limits, raise standards, and represent West Valley City with speed, grit, and relentless effort.

OLYMPIC-SIZE ICE SURFACE
Acord Ice Center features a 200' x 100' Olympic-size ice sheet, giving Ghost Riders players a larger, faster sheet for practices, skill work, and game preparation. That extra space supports speed, puck movement, skating development, and high-tempo junior hockey.
PRO HOCKEY PRACTICE HISTORY
The facility has served as the official practice facility for the Utah Grizzlies professional hockey team, giving prospects a home rink with a real hockey pedigree and a connection to the broader Utah hockey community.
2002 OLYMPIC LEGACY
Acord Ice Center was also used as a practice venue during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, giving the rink a unique place in Utah’s Olympic hockey and skating history.
